Maitre Chocolatier Boutique & Cafe

The last week of August was probably the week where I ate out the most. Because I am now solely paying my rent and all utilities and food, and other things like service fees for plumber and carpenter, I’ve made resolutions to eat out less so I can scrimp my money to pay what I need. (Okay, I do scrimp money, partly to buy shoes and other cute stuff, and pay for the things I need). But the last week of August was like an indulgence. See this post where I ate three desserts in one day. It was not just an indulgence of food, it was also an indulgence of friends. Sadly, when the week ended, some of my friends left Cebu.

One Wednesday, I spent the night eating dimsum with my support group, my friends since highschool (sans one who was in the capital). The four of us used to eat a lot of dimsum in highschool at Harbour City. After dimsum, we had chocolates at Chocolatier Boutique. I know the place is not new, but I’ve never been there before that night because I am not a fan of chocolates. We had chocolate fondue (plus another round of marshmallows that my two friends finished). I am not a fan of chocolates, but they are better eaten with friends. Anything seems better with friends (or Coke).

I enjoyed my first time at Chocolatier, but it’s not because of the chocolate fondue. In fact, I did not find the fondue superb or anything more than just that..a fondue. Maybe I’ll come back and try the other chocolate-infused dishes. (eek. think omelet with chocolates. more eek.)

I'd love to know what you think.
