We had really great sunshiny days the summer that was. Now that the rainy days are here, let me share to you one of the best trips I had this summer. It was an out-of-town trip that lasted some 12 hours, half of those hours were spent inside a van. I helped my friends with their prenuptial shoot (they got married last weekend, congratulations!) and the photographer took us to this small corner of the national highway down south, in the town of Barili. A few minutes ride from Barili’s public market, you’ll find Mantayupan Falls, a gem that faces the threat of being “eradicated” due to man and modern technology.
The Molave Milk Station is a popular fixture in Barili. Situated in a blind curve, the place offers relief to hungry and tired travellers and road trippers. I have been here many times, but the place never gets old. It seems every time I come here, they offer something new to travellers.
